Mayor Betsy Price became the fourth mayor to fly in an F-16 from Lockheed Martin runway in west Fort Worth on Friday, following Kay Granger, Kenneth Barr and Mike Moncrief, who flew while he was a state senator.
The one hour flight required about four hours of training and instruction, a physical and an plane inspection. Mayor Price was flown by Paul “Bear” Randall, a chief test pilot of the F-16 at Lockheed.
Thank you to Lockheed Martin for this amazing experience!
