Price says voters should pay attention to water board election

Mayor Betsy Price promised the city is doing everything it can to improve customer service and said all City Council incumbents deserve re-election in their races this year.

Price, in her annual State of the City address Wednesday at the Fort Worth Convention Center, also suggested the contest for two seats on the Tarrant Regional Water District board May 9 are more important than the city and school board races on the ballot.

“Get educated and learn about this race,” she said, putting her remarks in context with North Texas’ critical water needs. “It can affect our future.”
